The Game

SCORING

  • Scoring is valued by: Location + time of catch + fish species.
  • There are 2 different scoring systems depending on your location. Fresh Water (Landlocked) or Salt Water (Ocean)
  • Each fish species will hold a FISHCOIN value.
  • You must be within 20 metres of any body of water (river, lake, stream or Ocean) for the game to start.

    • 1 HOUR CHALLENGE

  • FISHCOIN value is calculated in 10-minute time frames and decreases 1 FISHCOIN value each 10-minute time frame
  • The last 10 minute of both locations are valued at maximum FISHCOIN the same as the first 10-minute time frame

    • Fresh Water (Landlocked) location

  • 59 – 50 mins = 6 FISHCOINs + species bonus
  • 49 – 40 mins = 5 FISHCOINs + species bonus
  • 39 – 30 mins = 4 FISHCOINs + species bonus
  • 29 – 20 mins = 3 FISHCOINs + species bonus
  • 19 – 10 mins = 2 FISHCOINs + species bonus
  • 09 – 0 mins = 6 FISHCOINs + species bonus (last 10 minutes is maximum FISHCOINs)

    • Salt Water (Ocean) location

  • 59 – 50 mins = 5 FISHCOINs + species bonus

    GAME TYPES

    Go Fishing = Challenge yourself (single player game)

    If you exit out of the game before the game time has finished, you will lose the FISHCOINS you have earned/won. (You must finish the game time, to collect the FISHCOINS)

    Challenge = Challenge anyone, locally, regionally or globally ( 2 player challenge game )

    If you exit out of the game before the end of the challenge game time finishes, you will forfeit the game to the opponent and the opponent will receive the FISHCOIN prize pool in their FISHCOIN wallet.

    LEADERBOARD

    Leader board placings are determined by how many FISHCOINs are earned/won by each user completing a challenge. Please note, FISHCOIN packages that have been bought do NOT register on the leader board.

    FISHCOIN YEAR

    • The first day of the FISHCOIN year is September 21st starting at (00:00)
    • The end of the FISHCOIN year will be September 20th at midnight (24:00)
    • All leaderboards and FISHCOIN wallets will be reset to 0 and the new FISHCOIN year will start.

    FISHCOIN WORLD FINAL

    • The top 10 players from the leaderboard for each country will be invited to the FISHCOIN world final at a world class fishing destination, (To be announced) for a chance to become a world champion.
